Auld Chinas
I was happy to leave Crag X on Skye for a while, but The Lawyer was keen to return and recruited Kev Shields at the start of June. I had never climbed with Kev so it was great to second his route. The route was only 5b but sustained and bold. Photo above is Kev placing the third runner, a skyhook, his second runner fell out. As three of us are from Dalry (China Town) I decided to call the cliff China Crag, some photos of the routes here FA
John Lamont took us out to Eilean nan Muc. John fishes by day and also works at night.

This was my second visit to the island, the right side of Dream Wall is green but the climbing is very good.
Cynthia suggested Dream Wall should be named Green Wall. We didn’t have the guide but it looks like she started up a ** Severe and finished up a *** Severe.
Pittsburg people visited the crag at Calgary. Photo is Andrew Benedicktus on Hermaphrodite.
